About

A home for Vibe Clouding.

This is an independent project by Jayjeet Jhala to define Vibe Clouding as a serious practitioner discipline for intent-driven cloud operations.

Vibe Clouding is an open idea: declare the cloud outcome, define the guardrails, and use agents to help operate, improve, and document the estate.

Why this site exists

Cloud has become powerful, but the interface is still too complex for the speed teams want. Most organizations still translate product intent through tickets, diagrams, infrastructure as code, YAML, approvals, and handoffs before anything real runs.

This site argues that the interface is changing. The next layer of cloud will be plain language, guided by policy, context, cloud memory, agentic execution, human review, and living documentation.

Who it is for

It is for CTOs, founders, architects, platform teams, SREs, cloud administrators, DevOps teams, and cloud builders who believe infrastructure should be easier to ask for, safer to operate, and less dependent on endless rediscovery.

Who maintains it

This site is maintained by Jayjeet Jhala as an independent, vendor neutral effort to define Vibe Clouding as a serious practitioner discipline: what it means, where it works, where it breaks, and how to operate it safely.

Origin note

The phrase "vibe clouding" has appeared around the industry before, including informal or vendor-specific uses. This site is not a claim of authorship. It is an effort to give the term a serious, vendor-neutral practitioner definition.
